Knowing vs Knowing

It is important to read the word daily. We know the stories of Jonah being stuck in a whale and running away from his calling. We hear about in the book of Daniel when Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego being thrown in the fiery furnace but do we remember why?

If we are not well rooted in faith we can become uprooted when the trials and attacks of life start to happen. We need to know the living word so that the enemy does not plant a seed of deceitfulness. So why do we have to know our craft?

A person can tell me they like poker. They play it with friends or at work for charity. It's a good cause and socializing events. But do people know poker? When our lives are devoted and the majority of our limited time is spent. Shows where our quiet passions lie.

Have a prayerful heart. Pray continually. Allow God to lead you. When we say we believe in Jesus do we really believe he died for our sins? That the grace of Jesus Christ allow us to be the most inclusive.

If we know the why, how come it is so difficult to turn them into an obsession? Jesus told us to seek the kingdom of God and all will be given you. No matter what evil is thrown at you we have a thing called Jesus. The events of Saturday was overfilled with love. At the end of my "Friday" my past came back to haunt me throwing "hate, slander and defamation" on my name. All I can do is bless them and be on my way. Although my life has been a gentle lazy river of months.

I have been given the answer to "go". I can admit I am fearful. Cautious might be the word. Like is it alright if I head this way? I am starting to push and strike with a hot iron rod. Christ before me... Cross beside me... Christianity behind me...
