Mark 2

Mark 2

David Rim

One thing funny about the Bible. We do not need to add, take, or twist to it with our limited human selves. It will stay true as it stands forever. Amen.

1-12.

A guy that was paralytic was carried by his four friends. Jesus told the paralytic that "his sins were forgiven". Which then he says it is easier to say then "arise, and walk out you are healed".

This picture clearly shows and states Jesus speaking healing into the paralytic man. And the witness of the crowd and paralytic mans closest friends. Also, shows that even Jesus gave a precursor to shocking unfathomable miracles.

So if I learn to take a step back before speaking truths into people. It will be perceived in a more gentle manner. If I learn to lean on a trusted group of friends they will help carry me with the love of God through my valleys.

13-17.

Levi took a walk with Jesus with the simple words "follow me". They were invited to a home where all walks of life gathered. Over the small table talks Jesus overheard them saying things and replied with "those who are well are not in need of a physician. I came to not call the righteous but sinners.

Jesus was so influential that Levi followed quickly, easily, and without hesitation. Jesus was all inclusive inviting tax collectors and sinners for they are more important then the righteous.

God, brings me to a place where supposedly sinners are. People are willing to follow and listen. So if I learn to be inclusive, warm and radiate love. Then my environment around me will not matter for God is with me. I am supposed to be a salt and light in the darkness. So I have to keep up respectfully.

23-28.

Jesus said "Sabbath was made for man, not man for Sabbath".

Sabbath was made for man. So we should take rest. In this season I've been recklessly, selfishly going after my own amibitions. And it's time to double down again. I have met a great immense friction between, flesh, spirit, good and evil. I need prayers and a team. A full day later…God wtf do you have planned. Is this how you are going to bring everyone together?
