Drum and Bass

Drum and Bass

David Rim

The drums and bass sound extra loud today. Every thump brought more anxiety as I have been reawaken.

May my words be a sprinkle of salt. A small nudge from afar.

Around this time last year you introduced yourself to me. All I thought was how sweet and gentle your soul was.

An opposite assumption if I chose to judge based on the metric of social fame.

Each professional posts looks like you are trying to keep up. But your soul wants to separate at the same time. As if God has your right hand pulling you in one direction and your life, goals, dreams, ambitions on your left pulling you the opposite direction.

I was discerned that your soul was opposite life must be rough. You are keeping it together on the outside, but your heart feels heavy of things you cannot control. The rain clouds that cover the Seattle sunset. Make it tough we cannot wait for the seasons to change.

The bass and drums sounded loud today.

It takes a women of faith to bring a lost man back in the right direction. A door that opens as others close. What more can I say for this blessing. It's not an everyday occurrence.

Like the story of Esther. God used Esther to rescue his people. Unlike the other women, who wanted to be chosen, Esther tried to evade the king, but she was the one picked. This shows that her selection was part of the divine plan: Esther was meant to rule in order to bring deliverance to all Israel.

She used wisdom, strength, compassion, diplomacy, intercession, and discernment. Esther possesses it.

How special like one star shining, shining in this galaxy that was chosen to make a wish upon.
